Every time we place a bulk sock order, we ask our manufacturing partner in China to include any unused socks that would otherwise go unworn. We cover the shipping costs to bring them here, and then donate every pair to local shelters, drop-in centres, and community organisations.

We call it The Extra Pair Project.

It's not a grand solution to a big problem. It's just a way of making sure that perfectly good socks end up on people's feet instead of sitting in storage.

Socks are one of the most requested items at shelters, yet they're often one of the least donated. By paying a little extra to ship these unused pairs, we're able to turn surplus into something genuinely useful.
